ARRIVAL Back to Navigation Prior to arriving in Glymmer, characters will hear a voice in the backs of their minds asking them if they're willing to work for their wish. The voice will promise to grant the wish as fair compensation for the labor they provide, and no matter how suspicious characters might be of the voice, they will know that the voice is speaking the truth. Characters will be given a chance to refuse or accept the offer. A simple mental acceptance of said offer is all the voice needs.

A second later, characters will wake up on a soft, clean bed staring up at a beige ceiling. Hovering above them is a weathered parchment of paper with a shining signature at the bottom. Characters won't have time to read the terms of the document, but they'll intrinsically understand that it's their work contract with the mysterious voice and that the signature at the bottom of said contract is theirs. After characters acknowledge the contract, it'll roll itself up and disappear in a shower of golden sparkles.

When characters sit up, they'll notice the following items lying on their nightstands:

✬ A thief outfit chosen OOCly on your app
✬ A smartphone complete with a chat app that resembles Discord. There is already a server set up for in-game characters to utilize
✬ A silver pendant attached to a chain
✬ A key to their dorm room
✬ A bento box with octopus shaped sausages, rice, a soft boiled egg, and some sliced fruit. It comes with a personalized motivational note, as noted on your app acceptance reply
✬ A letter from someone named "Topaz"
✬ An informational brochure explaining all of the IC knowledge from the mechanics page

The letter reads:

Oh, my apologies, I just couldn't help myself. Hello, dearie! Welcome to the wonderful world of Glymmer, and the best guild to exist in this beautiful place! ♥ My name is Topaz, and I'm your dorm mother! So to speak, anyway.
You are now part of the most illustrious phantom thief guild called the Glymmer Ragamuffins. Our superiors brought you here as soon as you accepted their offer, and we're oh-so glad to have you! In exchange for your services in assisting our guild, we'll be offering you one (1) strings-free wish at the end of your tenure with us. Welcome aboard!
Please feel free to choose your specialization posthaste, and do keep an eye on the phone I gave you. I'll be sending you a message with a list of missions shortly, after the rest of you arrive. The more missions you complete, the better your compensation. I do look forward to working with you all!

And with that? Your phone beeps, and prompts you to pick one of four specializations. The dorm room door won't unlock until you do so. Uh. . . welcome to your new life as a phantom thief?
